Presenting a more mature look, the Windsor Sleigh Bed (Chestnut) will offer your bedroom the luxury you are looking for. It is clear from the bed’s striking design that meticulous care was put into the craftsmanship. The sleigh resemblance is attained by the curved headboard and footboard that’s connected by the base of the bed, all stained to the colour of your choice.
Radiata Pine
As is the signature of Michael Calvin, this bed was crafted from 35-year-old matured radiata pine. Aged radiata pine is sturdy and durable and that’s why this timber is so commonly used. It has no pores, long fibre lengths and has a high density compared to other woods. The reliable woodwork of the Windsor Sleigh Bed will definitely leave you saying “It was money well spent!”.
Bedroom compatibility
As is pictured above, this bed is available in a Chestnut stain. The deep brown compliments the contours of the bed’s stout stature marvellously! It is easy to stain radiata pine, and so if you’re looking for a darker look, the Mahogany stain choice is also available. As you can see, there is absolutely no reason for you to compromise your decorating vision.
Mattress support
What good is a bed frame if it doesn’t properly support your mattress? By placing horizontal slats along the frame of the bed, as well as putting screws in along the key stress points in the frame, you’re guaranteed support from your bed. The Windsor Sleigh Bed definitely has your mattress’ back!
